I’m sorry to report that Lou Scheimer, co-founder and president of Filmation Studios, has passed away. He was 84. If you're as kid from the 60's to the 80's, then you know about Filmation and Lou's work in cartoons & kids shows of that era. Filmation Studios were a big part of Saturday Morning Cartoons back then. He brought the DC Comics heroes to life, gave us animated Star Trek series, and brought Shazam & Isis to live action. And of course gave us The Archies & Sabrina The Teen Age Witch for the first time on TV. Here is my small tribute to a man who gave so many children back then so much joy. You will be missed Lou!

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactIt's very weird to write a critique to a work that it's a tribute to another artist, because even when I love your work, it's also trying to give Lou's efforts to give children's cartoons a level of quality unheard of in the industry...
I love this work, but also I love it because it's an homage to a man that had so little resources and managed to pull some of the best moments of my childhood, so I hope you understand that I gave you all the stars because I cannot dare to rate a work of love like this.
